EYP Armenia member receives presidential award 2014

Every year the president of Armenia awards 20 prizes to the 20 best pupils from the top 5 schools in Armenia.

These pupils are chosen on the basis of their academic performance and an interview to assess general knowledge and personality.

EYP Armenia member Gor Piliposyan was one of the two presidential prize awardees from “Quantum” college. 

A little bit of history

“As the other pupils I was also told to be in Synopsis Armenia where the interview was to be held. A month later after the interview I had a phone call from Quantum and was told that I was one of the winners”,- said Gor in an interview to eyparmenia.org.

EYP Armenia member wins in “No Hate Speech” photo contest

Annually the Council of Europe with a youth campaign “No Hate Speech” movement organize a photo competition for European countries. This year the contest subject was “Against islamophobia and religious intolerance”.  EYP Armenia member Vahan Kirakosyan is the winner of this year’s contest and will leave for Strasbourg to receive the award in December.

300 newly accepted members join EYP Armenia family

orient2On October 8 the orientation session for newly accepted EYP Armenia members took place in Yerevan, Erebuni Plaza.

More than 300 bright young people, enthusiasts and artists joined EYP Armenia Family!

The official ceremony was followed by Q&A and reception. The new members have also received their member ID’s.

Call for Armenian Delegates at the 3rd EYP Youth Forum to Empower Emerging Leaders

It is our great pleasure to inform you that the 3rd Youth Forum by EYP Armenia (Forum to Empower Emerging Leaders – FEEL) on “Activate Youth for Sustainability: obtaining and rebuilding” (AYSOR) will take place on 14-18th November, 2014 in Yerevan, Armenia. Around 150 delegates from more than 30 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Americas will come together for this five-day program to discuss the specified topic in the respective committees, supplemented by the amazing cultural program (check out the information package).
